Jiawen Zhang is a PhD student at ARK Lab, HKUST (Guangzhou). She holds an MA in Service Design from the Royal College of Art and previously interned at Tsinghua University's Future Lab.
Her prior research applied generative AI to support autism education, and she has participated in multiple digital media art exhibitions, including interdisciplinary projects integrating AI with traditional embroidery and autism art. Her current research focuses on how digital technologies can empower the preservation, inheritance, and innovative dissemination of intangible cultural heritage.
